I like to consider myself a cardigan aficionado. I have collected a fair share of the beloved button up sweater over the years.    In my 20’s, cardigans were part of my daily uniform. I would wear them to work to keep warm. I would wear one at-home to lounge in. And I have been known to wear a cardigan out to bars and clubs. Over the years I have incorporated other types of cozy knits into my closet like oversized sweaters and turtlenecks, but I will forever be loyal to the classic cardigan. It’s easy to throw on over a plain t-shirt, a blouse, or a dress. You can even wear a cardigan alone, tucked into a skirt, high-waisted jeans, or shorts.

Now that we are approaching spring I have started to pull out more of my cardigans to wear. Days when I want my outfit to be seen and not covered up by a coat, I will throw on a cardigan. It adds an extra detail to your outfit whether you wear it draped over your shoulders or tied around your waist. It can be the focal point of your outfit or a side component. Its versatility is unparalleled.  Here are a few cardigans to shop for this spring season.
