In UA, where I am from, the 4th of July celebration starts early in the morning for a parade. The festivities continue throughout the day until late in the evening when the town gather’s at the park for fireworks. It’s a fun day filled with friends, good food and drinks, and celebrating Independence Day. When it comes to dressing for the 4th of July I usually opt for a dress– usually in blue or white. Something easy and light to throw on and enjoy the festivities but still elevated. This year my cousin is turning 40 so we are having a family celebration on the 4th. I am planning on wearing this blue dress to ring in a new decade for him and to celebrate America.

What I love about this dress is that I can wear it outside of the holiday. I could easily wear it to a bridal shower or baby shower. Wear it for date night or perhaps just an evening out with friends. I love the soft blue color with little blue floral detailing. The top has a tie to close up the v neck but also looks great opened. And I love the ruffle detailing of the collar. Oh I should mention it has pockets!! It’s pretty true to size- I am wearing a small. If I end up not wearing this dress for the 4th I am shopping for other blue dresses to wear. Here a few blue dresses currently on my radar to shop for the 4th of July.
