If you are like me, then you are always looking for ways to freshen up your home. Whether it’s new bedding, a fresh coat of paint, or a new abstract painting, we are always changing out the interior design of our home. For me, I am always looking to switch out or add a new decorative object. This is why I was excited when I stumbled upon the new home decor website Cailini Coastal earlier this year. Like all other new-to-me brands, I discovered Cailini Coastal through the magical world of Instagram and my fellow bloggers. Cailini Coastal was founded in April 2020 by Meg Young. Cailini means “coastal girls” in Irish. Only selling home decor, rugs, kitchen, and bedding, the curated home decor brand has a nautical, East Coast feel to it.
You may have paused at the April 2020 date. Yes, they launched right when the pandemic hit. Instead of faltering or pushing back the launch date, Cailini Coastal decided to partner with the non-profit organization Family Promise. For the first 6 months Cailini Coastal was open for business, 100% of their proceeds went to Family Promise. An organization that helps low-income families and families experiencing homelessness by providing shelter and meals. I think it’s amazing to give back so much at the start of your business and during a pandemic. As they continue to partner with the organization, this is great way to help out. Looking to add something to your home, while helping others in need. It’s wonder to see organizations give back.
Besides the wonderful cause, Cailini Coastal is now one of the websites I browse around to look for home decor. I am currently wanting to add new prints to my home, a tray for my coffee table, and a gathering bowl. Really I am always open to adding new decorative objects tiny studio apartment. Cailini Coastal has the elegant, light and airy, coastal look that I adore.
