Happy Friday and happy Halloween! Are you dressing up for Halloween this year? I will not dressing up…..unless I get invited last minute to a party. For me personally, I think it’s fun to dress up in a costume, especially for a party, but I don’t particularly feel the need to. It’s not really my thing but I will do it and have fun. And when I do dress up it’s mostly generic costumes like a witch where I already have a black dress or a girl scout and I can wear my old vest. I think I have only purchased a costume twice in my adult life. Actually I enjoy making my own costume. One year I went as a Tiffany’s box and had more fun crafting the costume than wearing it — wearing a box in a bar is not easy. Anyway, I may not be dressing up for Halloween but I sure do enjoy seeing all of my friend’s kids, and my nieces, dressed up! Kids dressed up as Ted Lasso is perhaps my favorite costume I have seen. It’s funny and so cute!!

I may not be dressing up for Halloween this year but I am getting into the spirit. I’ve enjoyed walking around the city looking at everyone’s front stoop decor. Some apartment buildings really go all out– especially in the West Village, Upper East Side, and Upper West Side. It’s fun to see how creative the decor is. Although I do appreciate them all- the scary, creative, and pretty ones- I prefer the pleasant looking ones. The ones with flowers and pumpkins. That is my kind of front porch fall aesthetic.

What I am watching: I finished season 3 of You. It does get better, but still found it to be ridiculous. I also do not think they need a season 4 or to go on for season 5. They could have easily ended it this season and it would have made sense. At this point, how are they getting away with murdering so many people. I know it’s a show, but still. How? Another season 3 show I started is Succession. I know there has only been 2 episodes but I think season 3 is perhaps the best so far. Right off the bat it’s interesting and filled with drama. Loving it all!

What I bought: Still in the holiday mood from last week and ended up purchasing this red silk camisole. Planning on wearing it with this silk skirt that I bought last week to wear to a holiday party.

This weekend I have brunch plans with friends, which I am excited about. Haven’t seen some of them for a while, so it will be nice to catch up. I also have another appointment with my chiropractor for my neck/back issue. I feel so much better, but it’s good to have another adjustment. Other than that I will be cheering on the Buckeyes Saturday night, frolicking around town looking at decor, and enjoying the fall here in New York.

Have a wonderful weekend xo
