Is there anything more classic than a shirtdress? They became fashionable during the 1950’s thanks to Christian Dior’s post-war “new look” couture collection. Since then shirtdresses have become a staple piece in every woman’s closet. One can never have enough shirtdresses for every season.
Fall is usually when I wear shirtdresses, whether in dark hues or moody florals. When I saw this dark vanilla colored shirtdress, I knew it would be a great addition to my fall wardrobe. I love that the color is not a typical fall palette. It’s light coloring makes it so I can wear throughout the spring and even during the summertime. What makes it truly a fall item, however, is how you accessorize it; burgundy handbags, boots, etc. This shirtdress is one to wear everyday; from work to dinner, brunch to running errands.
