You are never too old to ask Santa for gifts on Christmas day. Although all I want for Christmas is an increase in revenue, a trip to Europe, a luxury apartment, a puppy, an end to the pandemic, and a Chanel bag wouldn’t hurt. Santa may not grant such wishes, or will he….. Either way, I have added some easier things on my Christmas list for him to put under the tree for me this year.
Sea to Skye Floral + Botanical Art: I’ve been wanting to switch up a few of my art decor in my apartment. More specifically, above my home office. I knew I wanted a wall gallery of botanicals, ones with an antique look to it. I have been searching for months and finally decided on two different sets: this one from Sea to Skye and a few from Etsy. I spent months trying to decided between the two, even asking all of you on IG Stories. I finally decided on these 4 floral and botanical prints from Sea to Skye. I love the light tinted green background and how some of the prints have butterflies in them.
KITSCH Microfiber Spa Headband: I have seen this spa headband around the LTK app and thought it would be something I would use daily. I usually wear an old headband while I wash my face to keep my hair from getting in the way. However, I like this spa headband idea that not only helps keep your hair out of your face, but also so your hair does not get wet nor get product in it. This makes for a great stocking stuffer.
Nicola Bathie Stud Collection Embellished + Pearl Center Stud: I have been eyeing these pearl stud earrings for a while now. They are so gorgeous and elegant. The perfect pair of earrings to wear to weddings and special occasions.
Apparis Bree Faux Fur Coat: Ok so I already bought myself this faux fur coat, so technically it’s no longer on my Christmas list. However, I still wanted share in case you wanted to gift yourself or someone this lovely coat. I have been wearing it around the city and it not only keeps me warm, but my goodness it is SO soft and comfortable. I want to wear it everywhere and at all times.
Dr. Dennis Gross DRx SpectraLite FaceWare Pro: Who doesn’t want something that targets wrinkles, fine lines, and acne. I have seen this SpectralLite FaceWare mask all over social media, and people seem to love it. As someone who is starting to get wrinkles (WHY GOD WHY!!), I want to be proactive in slowing down the process, even just a tad. There are 3 different LED lights you can choose from, depending on what you want to target. I used to have an LED light board that I would stick my face in front of back when my acne was more than desirable and it worked. I am hoping that it helps with sun spots, because that is another problem I am dealing with….. why must it be this way!
All in Motion Yoga Block: I am still working out in my at-home gym doing Obé Fitness. One of the many workout options they have is yoga. I have been doing yoga for many years now and really do miss going into a studio. However, I have also really enjoyed doing yoga at home. I’ve never been one to use yoga blocks during class, but lately I have been wanting them to get a deeper stretch, especially in child’s pose. They are also great to use for ab workouts– squeezing the block between your thighs while doing ab movements.
Head TiS1 Supreme Strung Tennis Racquet: My tennis racquet is from the 90s. It is the first and only racquet I have ever owned. It’s pink and very 90s. I love it. I keep it at my parents house so when I am home during the warmer seasons, my dad and I can play tennis together. Unfortunately it is so old that it stains my hands and clothes. I want to get another racquet to keep here in the city in case I want to play or take lessons again. I don’t know what brand or color I want, I think this is something I will have to go and personally test out for myself.
J.K Adams 12-inch Wooden Rolling Pin: You know you are old when you want Santa to bring you a rolling pin for Christmas. I realized that my kitchen is missing a few things like a rolling pin and mixing bowls (see below). I cook Sunday through Thursday, but haven’t baked in… well, never. At least by myself. I want to get a rolling pin so I can do more in the kitchen, especially if I am invited to a dinner party and I want to whip something up.
Martha Stewart Collection Set of 3 Non-Skid Mixing Bowls: Adding onto the embarrassment from above; I do not own mixing bowls. I know you are probably thinking how have I survived this long without them. Well I always had a roommate that owned a set, so never thought about purchasing some for myself. Then 2 years ago I moved into my own studio apartment and realized I do not own mixing bowls of my own. Because of the pandemic and pure laziness, I haven’t gone out and bought my own set. So this is the perfect time for Santa to leave a few mixing bowls under the tree for me so I can actually become an adult.
