“what is meant to be will always find its way to you”

Happy Friday to everyone except Peloton…. IYKYK. Anyway, this past week felt off. I was teetering between a bad mood and a good mood. I had to work through a few things that popped up emotionally for me. Once I decided to let it all go and let God take care of it, I felt/ feel much better. When it comes to work, friendship, relationships, and so on– I remind myself that what is meant to be will always find it’s way, will always work out in God’s timing, not my timing.

Other than my emotional epiphany, this past week was productive. Mostly spent in creating content such as gift guides and holiday fashion. I did a quick shoot with my photographer for Addison Bay’s resort collection– this half-zip pullover that I haven’t stopped wearing since I got it. I’ve been shooting a lot in the Upper East Side lately, which is always lovely this time of the year. Usually I take photos around 5th ave area, but feel this year there isn’t much there. The Plaza is still under scaffolding and the Palace Hotel does not have their tree this year. So the UES it is! It’s been nice shooting around that area. Spotted in the UES..  xoxo

Last weekend I went to WTHN for an acupuncture session. My neck and shoulder is still hurting. For a quick update: I did something to my neck/shoulder area in the beginning of October when I was traveling over to Jersey for the OSU vs. Rutgers game. I pulled something and have since been trying to heal. I’ve been to my chiropractor and acupuncturist a few times. It does feel much better, but every once in a while I have pain. I think it’s best if I visit both my chiropractor and acupuncturist once a month for the rest of my life.

What I am watching: And Just Like That…. I have only seen the first episode and will watch episode 2 tonight. I will not give any spoilers but I do have mix feelings about the show. It’s bizarre to see them in modern times talking about Instagram and Podcast. There were a few moments where I cringed and even one part where I fast forward. Over all I loved seeing the girls back together and all of the beloved characters minus Samantha of course. Her absence is felt. I am looking forward to seeing how their stories unfold and most importantly, what the girls will be wearing!

Another show I started watching is The Sex Lives of College Girls on HBO. I originally had no interest, but someone suggested it to me and now I love the show. The series is created by Mindy Kaling, so you know it’s funny. I do think the title does not do the show justice. It is so much more than their love/sex lives. I really enjoy watching these 4 girls who are completely different in every way develop a friendship. It is heartwarming to see them embrace each other’s differences and form a connection. I can’t wait for season 2.

What I bought: I haven’t bought anything new except for holiday gifts which I am going to be hush, hush about. I am currently looking at buying Chelsea boots and deciding between modern ivy leather and cedarwood. If you are still shopping for the holidays check out my gift guides:

This weekend I have a holiday event with Popupflorist and Smudge Wellness. It’s open to the public on Saturday from 12pm-6pm (63 E 7th st.), but I will be there for the exclusive morning hours. They will have a tarot card reader, an astrologist, and a reiki healer– and you know how much I love that stuff. I am really looking forward to the event and seeing what the future holds for me. Besides my wellness journey, this weekend I will be frolicking around looking at more holiday decor. Hopefully finishing my book and getting a new one. I will be attending a DanceBody class– I missed my class this past week because I screwed up on which studio I was suppose to go to. Insert eye roll. So I am really looking forward to class this weekend and dancing! And of course I will be watching holiday movies.

Have a wonderful weekend xo
