Happy Friday! We are finally in April and spring is starting to flourish all around us. I love the month of April. It marks the beginning of warmer weather, the celebration of Easter, cherry blossom trees bloom, and spirits are high. I am so ready to put away my puffy coat and throw on my floral dresses.

The majority of this week was about finishing a few projects and submitting them in for review. I am excited to post a few of them next week– hopefully! The rest of my week I was out and about. I went to the Flower District to browse around. I ended up buying a bouquet filled with lavender daisies, Gerbera daisies, and button mums. I love frolicking around the Flower District. I exploded with happiness from being surrounded by so many flowers. For those of you who do not know about the Flower District, it is tucked away in Chelsea on w 28th st between 7th and 6th ave. It’s a street filled with floral shop after floral shop. All of the shops usually close around 11am or 12pm, so it’s definitely something you want to get up early for. It can get a little crazy, but so worth being there if you love flowers. I like to go every once in a while because it really does lift my spirits being around so many beautiful flowers. And I get really great floral content from it.

Wednesday I went to the Twist Bar in Chelsea for happy hour. The Twist Bar is a small cocktail bar that is attached to Milk & Hops. It’s the best of both worlds. Milk & Hops is a tap beer and bottle shop. You can go in for a draft beer and food or stop by and grab cans of craft beer to go. The Twist Bar is mostly cocktails and wine. It’s a great place to go to for happy hour or date night. It’s intimate and mostly quiet.

What I am watching: Dearest readers, it’s Bridgerton season 2 of course! I binged watch the entire season last weekend and loved every episode. I know everyone is comparing which season is best, but I think they are both equally good. I know certain relations were missing from season 2 that were in season 1, but I still thought the chemistry and tension between Anthony and Kate was very amorous and titillating. But besides all of that, the costumes and set designs were impeccable. I loved each character’s storyline and arc. I can NOT wait until season 3 and for the new Queen Charlotte prequel!

What I bought: I didn’t buy anything new this week, besides flowers. I was gifted a new pair of pants, a shirtdress, and a headband from Club Monaco that I can not wait to live in this spring and summer.

For more items to shop: check out my spring must-haves from Uniqlo. My resort wear wishlist. And 20 dresses to wear on Easter.

This weekend I am seeing the new musical The Wanderer starring Joey McIntyre. It’s the true story of musician Dion; who sings the hit songs from the 50s and 60s “The Wanderer” as well as “Run Around Sue”, and more. I am a fan of Dion’s songs, and Joey McIntyre in general. I mean the NKOTB were my first celebrity crushes when I was 3 years old. I may scream a little when Joey McIntyre steps onto the stage. Anyway, I am excited to see this new musical and think it is going to be good. Other than attending broadway, I will be laying low this weekend. I need to get a new book, will frolic around the city, perhaps go for a run if the weather is nice, relax at home, and of course watch the Grammys!

Have a wonderful weekend xo
