As the 4th of July is less than a week away, I thought I’d share what I will be wearing celebrate. For the holiday I will be in Columbus with my family. We will do the usual; parade in the morning, picnic in the afternoon, and fireworks at the park. It’s always a fun, joyful day filled with festivities and cheer.
For the 4th this year I decided to finally purchase this blue stripe smock dress. I have been eyeing Maxwell & Geraldine’s The Brooke dress since last year. It’s a classic summer dress that I can wear after the 4th and for many years to come.

This tie-shoulder dress comes in different colors such as white, red, and green. It also comes in a shorter length that sits above the knees. It’s comfortable to wear and easy to throw on. You can dress it up for a special occasion with a pair of heels or put on sneakers for a more casual look. For size reference I am wearing a small.
