We always think of wedding season falling upon the spring and summertime. From beach weddings to destination, our spring and summer seasons are filled with celebrations of love. But it does not stop there. Fall weddings are becoming more and more popular. I have been to plenty of fall weddings in my days and enjoy the autumn aesthetics and the crisp air. This year I only have one wedding, my cousins, which is in early December. I may hold off a little on purchasing dresses for the entire weekend, but it doesn’t stop me from shopping around.
Dressing for a fall wedding can be tricky. Should you wear black? Can you wear bright colors? Is the dress too summery or should you go with long sleeves? To me, if the wedding is in September or October you can get away with brighter colors like this one shoulder dress, where November and December should be warmer colors. The fall season doesn’t mean you can’t wear prints– opt for moody florals or dark gingham. And I personally think wearing black to a wedding is ok! You can never go wrong with a classic LBD. Since my cousin’s wedding is in December I will most likely wear a dress with long sleeves like this floral dress. Here are more options to wear as a guest to a fall wedding.
