Happy Friday! Like the rest of the world I am sadden to hear the news of Olivia Newton-John passing. And like the rest of the world I am a huge fan of Grease. I used to dream about playing Sandy on stage. Honestly, I just wanted to be Sandy in real life; she had great hair, the cutest outfits, and was genuinely sweet. Olivia Newton-John is a legend. A true talent with an amazing voice, a great dancer, and seemed to be a wonderful person to others. She will be missed.
Besides blaring the Grease soundtrack and “Physical”, the rest of my week was up and down. I spent most of the week cleaning. I’ve been on this Monica Geller style cleaning kick lately. Wednesday evening I couldn’t sleep so I decided to clean my apartment at 1am. I may be stressed out…. at least my apartment is spotless.
Tuesday morning I went to Pinto Garden for a private brunch event with Andalou Naturals. The brunch was to celebrate their new skincare line called 1000 Roses. They partnered with Dr. Marisa Garshick to create the perfect serum, soothing oil, and lip scrub for sensitive skin. The event was lovely! It was my first time at Pinto Garden and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is beautiful, as if you are dinning in a green house filled with roses. I met a few new people, had a delicious brunch (perhaps the best avocado toast I have ever had and it was GF!!), and got to try the new skincare products that feels amazing on my skin.
What I am watching: I do not care that I am in my late 30’s I love High School Musical The Musical Series. It’s a cute show and the kids are really talented. It puts me in a great mood. I am loving the addition of Jesse Tyler Ferguson and am enjoying the kids being at camp. I like how this season is different from the previous ones– different setting, new characters, etc. Season 3 has been enjoyable!
Last weekend I watched Purple Hearts on Netflix. I know the movie is getting mixed reviews for deservedly good reasons, but I enjoyed it for what it was. I liked the storyline and thought the actors did a great job!
What I bought: J.Mclaughlin gifted me this classic shirtdress, which is perfect for fall season. Also this bucket bag that will go nicely with most of my fall wardrobe.
My top seller of the week: This floral print dress for the fall season.

This weekend I have nothing planned except to go to DanceBody. I am really loving the summer dances, they are both fun and challenging. Besides dancing, I will be spending the weekend running errands. I need a new book and a new shower curtain. I’ve been finding myself on most weekends sitting outside Rosecrans reading while enjoying my favorite VYBES drink (strawberry lavender). It’s been lovely just sitting there relaxing, so I may do it again this weekend. Other than that I will see where life takes me.
Have a wonderful weekend xo
