I am always looking for ways to elevate a casual fall outfit; be it adding a statement earring, a pop of color, or a chic embellishment. When I first saw this feather button down top last yer, I couldn’t hit purchase fast enough. Now that it’s back in stock this year, I also got it in white.
When I say I wear this feather button down top a lot during the fall and winter seasons, I am not exaggerating. Last year I wore it for holiday gatherings. It pairs nicely with a shiny skirt or sequined pants. When it’s not the holiday season, this top has become my go-to for Broadway shows. I pair it over faux leather leggings with knee high boots or tucked into high rise pants. This fall, however, I am pairing it with jeans for an elevated casual look. If the weather gets colder, I can throw over a cardigan or a tweed jacket.

This feather button down is oversized, but I got my regular size 2. I am happy with it being oversized and wouldn’t want to go down a size. I love that it’s not a perfect fit. As mentioned I currently have it in both the light blue and white, but it does come in other colors. I am currently eyeing the navy and light pink.
