“Have faith in a happy outcome”

-Abraham Hicks

Happy Friday! I hope you had a wonderful start to 2023! For me it’s been good- busy- which is great. I am kicking off the new year feeling motivated and optimistic.

My New Year’s Eve was low-key and quiet, the way I wanted it to be. I watched The Ohio State game against Georgia… which was heartbreaking. I really thought we were going to win. And those kids deserved to win, they played their hearts out. Silver lining is the Michigan also lost. Anyway, there is always next year! On New Year’s Day I was a bump on a log. I sat on the couch all day watching Harry Potter. I took a nap, did a little yoga, a little work, and changed up my mood board. I loved ever minute of being lazy!

Another way I kicked off the new year was by going to WTHN for acupuncture. It has been a while since I have had acupuncture, so knew it was much needed. It was a great way to reset my body for the new year. Normally I do not feel the needles, or may only feel one or two. This time, however, my entire body was aching during the session. I obviously needed this.

The rest of my week has been busy dealing with all the emails I ignored over the past week or two and gearing up for a few campaigns. I met up with my photographer Lauren in South Street Seaport to shoot a few looks. We also sat in the cafe inside McNally Jackson’s and talked for a while. It was nice to catch up on what we did over the holidays and other life updates. It was an enjoyable shoot!

What I am watching: Last weekend I watched Glass Onion on Netflix. It’s the new Knives Out mystery. I really enjoyed Glass Onion. It was a little obvious, in my opinion, but there were still a lot of surprises. I loved the quirkiness of it and thought each character was great within their own. Highly suggest watching!

I binged watched all of season 3 of Emily In Paris. I have to say Emily is dressing much better! She still has her unique sense of style, but it’s put together in a much more cohesive way. I can’t say the same for Mindy. I wasn’t a fan of her outfits this season, but she is still my favorite character. Watching Emily In Paris makes me want to move abroad and start a new life. I love their getaway weekend trips to the château and their fancy parties. I can’t wait until season 4! Also I am neither team Alfie or Gabriel. I personally do not think either relationship is right. I could write a dissertation on why Emily is the villain. I do like Emily, don’t get me wrong, but she has Carrie Bradshaw energy……IYKYK.

What I bought: I didn’t buy anything new this week but I am browsing matching lounge sets to up level my remote wear. I currently have my eye on this knit set.

This weekend I have nothing planned but to prepare for a few campaigns I have coming up. I also need to get a new book, so will probably frolic around the city and shop.

Have a wonderful weekend xo
