When I was in Marco Island with my family we spent most evenings trying a new restaurant or dinning at some of our favorites. One of our favorite restaurants is the Speakeasy. Not only is the food good, but we enjoy dining by the waterfront. Sometimes when we have been there they have had entertainment on the back patio, other times you get to enjoy the peaceful view of the canal. If you have been to Marco Island than you know that the style is mostly casual. There is a relaxed, easy-going beach aesthetic to most of the restaurants and the restaurant goers. All you need is a casual dress to throw on and you are ready to dine.

I wore this floral mini dress to the Speakeasy restaurant while in Marco. What I love about this dress is that the floral print elevates a casual style. The dress without the print is casual; with a drawstring waist, cotton material, and a tie-neckline. The puffy sleeves and the garden print really make the dress. It can be dressed up with heels for a night out or with flats for a casual stroll in the summer. I paired the dress with my new green slide sandals that has a retro feel for them. I absolutely love these sandals– comfortable and chic! Ones that I will wear every chance I can get this spring and summer season. For size reference on the dress I am wearing my normal size small.
