As we quickly approach summer, I am starting to browse for outfits to wear during the season. Especially ones to wear during Memorial Day Weekend and for the 4th of July. With Memorial Day being next week, I have already started to plan what outfits to wear. I will be going home to Columbus to not only spend time with my family, but to also attend my niece’s dance recital and the Memorial Golf Tournament.
While my family usually has a casual cookout for Memorial Day, I have always been known to over dress for family gatherings. One dress in particular that I have in mind to wear either for Memorial Day Weekend or the 4th of July is this scalloped navy mini dress. This mini dress has been so wildly popular, it keeps getting restocked! I originally wanted the dress in pink but it was currently sold out in my size. I am happy I got the navy as I can wear it during the patriotic holidays.

What I love about this linen mini dress is that it can be versatile. I can easily wear this with sneakers or flats for a backyard cookout or pair it with heels and a pearl clutch for a more upscale event. I can even wear this dress on a bachelorette weekend, date night, and most everything else in between. The white scalloped hem-line really makes the dress unique. It goes well with my scalloped white slide sandals. I am wearing my regular size 2 in the dress and it fits pretty well. I wouldn’t go up or down in size. It is still fitted but loose enough that I can easily roam around. As mentioned, it also comes in other colors pink/white and a black/cream combination. Click on the images below to shop!
