“Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere. They are in each other all along.”

Happy Friday! Did you survive the second great war? I once again was waitlisted for Taylor Swift tickets. I am not sure what religious sacrifice I have to do in order for Ticketmaster to grant me with even a slight chance to get tickets (people with VF codes still didn’t get tickets). And to see that the majority of the tickets are already on resell sites, just irks me beyond belief. How is that ethical and fair? I am pretty upset. I miss the old days when it was easy to get a ticket to any concert.

Besides my bad blood with Ticketmaster, the rest of my week was pretty busy. I FINALLY started painting my mirror. It looks exactly how I envisioned it to be! I am pretty happy with the design and color. If you have been following along you know that it took me MONTHS to find a stencil design. Either the dimensions were off, I changed my mind on the design, or the stencil was never delivered. It was a long process but it is finally coming together. The color that I chose for the design is a light sage green. I am almost finished painting the mirror and can’t wait to share it with all of you! Also can’t wait for my apartment to not look like a tornado hit it.

I had a photoshoot this past Wednesday with an associate of my photographer Lauren. Lauren had her baby!! The cutest little girl!! Anyway, she is taking a much deserved time off for the summer. I worked with one of her associates, Marth. I have worked with Marth before so was comfortable shooting with her. We shot a few looks around West Village. Bleecker Street is my go-to area; there are so much beautiful storefronts to shoot in front of. I find it really efficient to shoot in that area because of it. Unfortunately the stores that I envisioned for each outfit were fully in the sun, making it hard to shoot. We had to pick another section of the street. This happens a lot when taking photos, you can’t control mother nature. The photos still look amazing and am excited to share them! I have already shown a few REELS– here and here.

What I am watching: Only Murders In The Building is back!! I love this show! I mean how could you not it has Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez. Plus this season has Paul Rudd who I LOVE. Plus other actors and actresses that I like: Meryl Streep, Jesse Williams, Ashley Park, etc. Only the first two episodes have been released, which I watched and really liked. I am sad this is the last season, but am also excited because it’s already so good!!

What I bought: I went on a little shopping spree. For the fall season I bought this cable-knit cardigan in navy (also comes in white). It has gold buttons, which I like. Very classic looking! I bought it in a size small. It has been delivered but I haven’t found the time to try it on yet. I am sure it fits. Along with the cardigan I bought this chunky gold chain-linked necklace. I do like it but am not sure if I am going to keep it. I think I would rather have something more dainty. For my apartment I bought this white shelf with gold corbels in 36inch. I plan on putting it above my tv. It looks so bare there. It bores me to look at it. I also bought this over the door hook hanger to accommodate my robes.

Top Seller: This pink mini dress— on sale and under $70

This weekend my plans changed a little. I was suppose to meet a friend of mine for drinks, but she had to cancel for work stuff. Instead I will finish painting my mirror, go for a run, and enjoy the city. I do need to go shopping for a new bra as I have an event Monday night and the dress I want to wear for it needs a backless bra. Oh and I am getting my hair done today!

Have a wonderful weekend xo
