Happy Sunday! Now that Thanksgiving is over with, it’s time to focus on the most jolly season of them all. With the holidays finally here, my focus is on festive attire and decor.
With so many glamorous parties on the horizon, one will need a dress to wear. This metallic tiered midi dress is not only beautiful, but would be fun to twirl around in. I love the rhinestone trim of the bust and the straps. It’s perfect for a holiday party, wedding, or New Year’s Eve. Pair it with these pearly bow drop earrings and this bubble acrylic clutch to complete the outfit.
If you are heading to an office party or perhaps just a cozy shindig with friends, a fair isle sweater will do. Elevate the look by pairing it with a classic black slip skirt. A black slip skirt will be worn religiously throughout the year. If you want to make it even more festive, pair it with these silver sparkly babies heels. If you are hosting the soirée, have your guests place their drinks on these mistletoe cocktail napkins.
For Christmas Day wear this tartan puff-sleeve dress with jeweled buttons. It’s currently on sale and under $50. Top off all of your holiday looks with this red lipstick. I am always on the prowl for the best red lipstick and this one seems to be a favorite amongst beauty enthusiast.
Now that we have our holiday outfits planned, it’s time to do a little shopping for Christmas decor. My family always throws tinsel onto the tree– we are traditionalist. While I love the vintage look of tinsel, I am also enjoying this new-to-me trend of putting bows all over the tree. I think if done right it can be just as festive as tinsel. I have seen this trend done with both multiple colors or just one. I personally would do just one and let the ornaments showcase color. If I did have a tree I would use these ivory bows to hang.
