It’s finally time for me to start packing for my vacation to Florida! I am more than ready to lazily lay poolside on a lounge chair with a book in my hand. The only thing on my mind right now is getting ready for the trip; packing all of my outfits.
For the past few weeks I have been shopping for what to wear during my vacation. One thing I for sure wanted to pack are clothes that were comfortable and stylish. Something easy to throw on for dinner or while we stroll through the boutiques. This garden a-line dress can be worn both casually or dressed up. It will also make for a great everyday dress in the summer. For a more dressier look, I am taking this floral mini linen skirt. However, I am pairing it with a classic white t-shirt because Marco Island isn’t that fancy.
Another item I was shopping for are cute two-piece sets. This matching eyelet set (top and bottom) works perfectly for vacation, and for the summer. I can get a variety of outfits out of it by mix and matching the top and bottom. Another casual outfit I will take with me is, of course, a nap dress. I basically live in nap dresses while on vacation and during the spring and summer season.
The house we are staying at has a tennis court, so we will be playing both pickleball and tennis. I bought this tennis dress to wear while volleying– also able to wear it casually during hot summer days.
Last but not least, a caftan to wear while being poolside or to the beach. This pretty floral caftan is great to either throw over your swimsuit or to wear while lounging around the house. I was also going to purchase a new swimsuit, and had my eye on this floral ruffle top and matching floral high-rise bikini bottoms. However, I bought a new one last year and I couldn’t justify getting another one when I am only in a swimsuit a handful of times during the summer.
