“I would like to paint the way a bird sings”

-Claude Monet

Happy Friday and happy The Tortured Poets Department release day to those that celebrate!!!! I have been listening to the entire album(s) all day long. I love every song! I can’t decide which one is my favorite- whatever is currently playing I guess. Taylor is truly a brilliant artist!

Besides being depressed? delusional? happy? from listening to TTPD, my week has been pleasantly good. Last weekend I went to the Central Park Boathouse for brunch with friends. I haven’t been to the Loeb Boathouse since it was revitalized. To be perfectly honest I couldn’t tell you what changes they made, but it looks nice in there. You can’t go wrong with a beautiful view of Central Park in the springtime while brunching.

I went back to my usual DanceBody class. They introduced a new dance – “Goated”- that may be my favorite of the quarter. It’s more on the hip hop side, which I like. I am starting to nail down most of the dances but a some I need to do a few more times to get the movements.

I also went back to physical therapy as well as the sports medical doctor. Last week my neck and shoulder felt great. Pain still lingers a little, but overall it was functional and manageable. Now my neck and traps hurt because of the shots the doctor gave me. He gave me medicine to help ease the pain, but it only bruised me– I have a bruise on my neck that looks like a hickey. The pain I am feeling is from the bruises and from irritation of being worked on. I have to continue my therapy session to strengthen the areas. I am glad that is still the case, I really thought I would have to get an MRI.  Hopefully my neck and traps are on its way to being healed.

Before PT I went to my dermatologist to check on the cyst on my lip…. I really am a mess. Luckily the cyst is gone but there is some residue. There is nothing anyone can do about it except to wait it out. Hopefully that will also be completely gone soon. It’s so small now you can barely see it, but I know it’s there and it bothers me.

This morning I went uptown to shoot some spring content. I missed the bulk of the cherry blossom trees blooming in Central Park, but found a few to shoot in front of. Excited to share my outfits with all of you soon!!

What I am watching: I watched the movie Argylle. I thought it was cute! Definitely has some silly moments, but overall I enjoyed it. I, for some reason, thought going into the movie that the cat was the secret agent…. boy was I really confused at first, haha. Like I said I thought the movie was cute and worth a watch.

I started watching Loot on AppleTV+. I do not know where I was in 2022, because I somehow missed it. I thought this was a new show until I scrolled down to see how many episodes and saw that season 2 just released. Anyway, the show is about a woman named Molly (Maya Rudolph) who divorces her Tech CEO husband and gains billions of dollars out of the settlement. She then finds out she owns a charity and starts to really part-take in it. It’s hilarious and heartwarming. I really like it!

What I bought: I didn’t buy anything new this week but have my eye on these high-rise biker shorts 6″ in oasis blue. I love the color– would be perfect for Princess Diana season…. IYKYK.
