Happy Sunday! Yesterday I took a day trip to Connecticut for Fenimore Lane Design Summit at the Mayflower Inn. The entire day was filled with shopping home decor items, interior design tips, and beautiful scenery. I left feeling so inspired. With all this creative vision, this week’s Sunday Shopping is influenced by color and design.
Home decor items are, of course, on the forefront of my mind. While browsing the bazaar, I looked mostly at embroidered napkins. Over The Moon was one of the vendors at the summit and they had these cute floral embroidered linen cocktail napkins. They are perfect for when you have the girls over for rosé on the back patio or for your next dinner party.
If there is one dress you need for the spring and summer to wear to any and all of your soirées it is a nap dress. I absolutely love wearing my nap dresses. It’s both comfortable and stylish. Hill House Home just released their summer collection, each item is a must-have. One particular print I love is the pink lily of the valley. I saw someone wearing this dress yesterday at the summit, it’s truly lovely in person. Pair it with this classic lunch box shaped rattan top handle bag for both a casual and dressed up look.
Another dress you can take from day to night is this green checkered mini dress. It’s a great dress to throw on and go. Add some more detail by pairing the dress with these white weave design ballet flats and these gold sunflower drop earrings— both under $100.
We are the point in the spring where it’s both chilly and sunny. A time where you want to stay warm while wearing seasonal items.
