Happy Friday! I am sitting here enjoying another day of tennis. I have been glued to the tv these past two weeks watching the US Open. I am so happy there will be an American on both the men’s and women’s finals.

Even though I was busy with work stuff, it was one of those week’s where I didn’t feel like doing anything except read or watch tennis. I guess I am in a period where I need to be in my cocoon. With everything that has gone on lately I am just drained. I know I will be back to myself soon.

After 3 weeks I finally went back to my usual DanceBody full-out class. I haven’t been there due to either being out of town or had other plans. It felt good to be back and dancing again. I was nervous that I wouldn’t remember the movements, but thank goodness for muscle memory. I did pretty well. Even my stamina was decent. We are in the our last month of the Q3 dances, so this means music will be changed up – adding a whole new level of challenges. Then in October we will start all over again with new dances. Excited to learn them!

What I am watching: I am still watching the US Open. Excited for all of the Americans in the semi-finals and now finals (go Pegula!). Tonight’s match between Tiafoe and Fritz will be amazing!

Did you watch the final of The Bachelorette? I do not think I have ever been so enraged before while watching ATFR. However, I do feel validated for not liking Devin from day one. I knew exactly the type of guy he was and he proved me right. I will say there were moments, especially towards the end, where I thought maybe I was wrong. But nope… I was right. He is a cliche guy who wasn’t very popular in high school and never got girls, now he had a little glow up and checked his dm’s. Pathetic. I blame everyone who worked on The Bachelorette (ABC included) on how terrible the guys were this season minus Jonathan, Spencer, and Grant. ABC needs to do a better job vetting these boys. Hopefully Jenn does well on Dancing with The Stars (can’t WAIT for it to start) and gains her confidence back. Now onto The Golden Bachelorette which I am also very excited for!

I started watching The Discovery of Witches on Netflix. I’ve been seeing a lot of discourse on how good it is on Threads. I am very much enjoying it! It has witches, vampires, demons, and the lead guy (Matthew Goode) is very handsome! Highly recommend!

What I bought: The only thing I bought this week was a new book. I want to read The Perfect Couple by Elin Hilderbrand before starting the Netflix series. The series just came out, starring Nicole Kidman. I hear the book is really good– and we all know the book is better than the movie/tv show. Excited to start reading it once I get it. I bought it on Amazon because it was on sale for $9.

This weekend I am heading to Connecticut with a few friends for the Fairfield County Hunt Club’s polo match. I haven’t been to a polo match in a few years, so I am excited for the weekend. It will be good to get out of the city, be with friends, and look at horses while sipping champagne and wearing a pretty dress. Hopefully the weather will be nice!
