Happy Friday! I hope you had a spooky Halloween. I had a Reese’s peanut butter cup and watched Agatha All Along. A pretty great Halloween night if I do say so myself.

This past week was filled with fun, busy, and exciting things. Last weekend I went uptown to my friend’s apartment for a little girls night in. We had wine and charcuterie, and caught up on each other’s lives. It was a lovely evening.

I finally went back to DanceBody after not being able to for a few weeks. It was nice to physically be in the studio. As much as it’s easier to do it at home through their DanceBody Live stream, it’s not the same at being in the studio. The energy and space makes a huge difference. Anyway, we learned, or I guess relearned, an old dance- “Slave 4 U” by Britney Spears. Thank goodness for muscle memory because I physically knew the dance as long as I didn’t think about it. I easily caught on because my body remembered the routine. The other dances I have a decent grasp on, except “Me & U”. I do not know why I am having trouble with it. May need to practice it at home more often.

Tuesday evening I went downtown to celebrate Warners Bras 150th anniversary. To be honest I am not that familiarized with brand. I am part of the Victoria’s Secret generation; any first time bras or bras I wore in high school were of VS. Then I moved onto Betsy Johnson because they were the only company offering 30inch bra sizes, and now wear Natori. Anyway, enough about my bra. The event was great. They had a timeline exhibit of their company and how it has evolved throughout the decades. In the 1800s they made corsets more comfortable by using sustainable material. They were the first company in the 1930s to introduce ABCD cups. I really enjoyed learning the history of not only of Warners Bras but also of women’s under garments. It was fascinating.

Also this week I went to the ABASK, in collaboration with R & Company, pop-up store opening in SoHo. ABASK is a home and clothing retailer selling local artisan’s designs. The event was filled with decorative objects that felt very art deco and abstract; bold colors, geometric, unique shapes. One of my favorite pieces shown was bar stools where the legs were shaped gold-brass legs. I also liked these flower shaped pendant lights. The evening was lovely and I really enjoyed looking at all of the decor; felt like looking at artwork in a museum.

I had another photoshoot with my photographer. This time I did it with Lauren, whom I haven’t seen in a long time! Our schedules never align. We shot in the Upper West Side. I hardly ever go up to the UWS, let alone shoot there. It was fun to change things up. I shot 4 outfits ranging from fall to holiday.

What I am watching: As mentioned I binged watched Agatha All Along. It was SO good! Give Kathryn Hahn an Emmy! Even if you are not a Marvel fan you can still enjoy the show. There may be a few things that will go over your head, but overall it will make sense. I thoroughly enjoyed the show; it was fun, thrilling, creative, and spooky. I hope there is a season 2 but I read it may just be a one and done series.

What I bought: I started listening to Kelly Bishop’s memoir The Third Gilmore Girl on Audiobooks. It is very good! I knew somewhat of Kelly Bishop’s background; mostly that she was the original Shelia in A Chorus Line on broadway. However, there is so much to her that I didn’t know. As a dancer I am eating up all of her theatre background. As someone who loves other people’s drama, it is juicy.

This weekend is a VERY exciting weekend for me….. I am on my way home to Columbus to travel to Indiana for the TAYLOR SWIFT ERAS TOUR!!! After 2 years of frustration in trying to find tickets I finally am going to the concert!!!! I am going with my mom, sister, and niece. I do not have that much time to concoct a themed sparkly outfit but I may run to Target to grab fun earrings and/or a sequined top. I am over the moon excited for the concert and can’t believe I am actually going!!!!!

Have a wonderful weekend xo
