In a few weeks I will be swimming in a pool with the sun shining down and a smile on my face. My vacation to Marco Island is approaching and I am starting to think about my wishlist for the much needed vacation. What items I already have that I will take, and what new items I am coveting to wear.
Marco is a pretty casual place, most of my outfits will be flowy and comfortable. This yellow pleated tank dress is perfect to throw on and go. Especially on days that are hot and humid. Between this yellow dress and this floral smocked dress, the ruffle waistline is a cute detail. The smocked maxi dress comes in different colors and patterns– under $30.
An outfit that is both casual and elevated is this stripe top and skirt matching set. A great way to mix and match a variety of different outfits for vacation and summer. Wear the top with these satin pants (that I am taking on my trip- size down) and wear the skirt with a pretty blouse for spring.
Another item you can dress up or down is this white lace dress. It’s elegant eyelet lace overlay design makes for a more elevated look, yet it’s effortless in its structure. It’s an easy vacation dress to wear, but can also be worn to a more formal event like a bridal or baby shower.
Marco Island may be a casual place to vacation, but that doesn’t stop me from dressing up. We always go to one nice restaurant and my eye is on this garden print knit dress to wear to dinner. It’s a jaw-dropping, gorgeous dress. The knit material and detachable tie-belt makes it comfortable and easy to wear, while the captivating floral print heightens it’s sophistication.
Dresses are not the only thing on my list. This pretty geometric print skirt is perfect for casual days pairing it with a basic white t-shirt. Wear it out at night with a crop top or a blouse.
Vacation, of course, wouldn’t be the same without a new swimsuit to wear. I have my eye on this floral ruffle bikini set. Not only is the design pretty, I gravitate towards high-waist bikini bottoms as well. While sitting poolside I can throw on this cute and stylish apricot colored, foldable sun hat and these square clear framed sunglasses (under $100).
