Happy Good Friday! It’s a beautiful 60 degree day here! The sun is out, the Easter bunny is on it’s way, and I am almost over my cold.

Unfortunately I have been sick with the cold for the past few days. I was not surprised I got sick. The continuous rain, the drop in temperature- I saw, and felt, this cold coming from a mile away. Luckily I am feeling much better and just in time for the warm weather and the celebration of Easter.

Before I had the sniffles I went to my usual Tuesday morning dance class at DanceBody. We learned a new, very fun dance. The song is “NUEVAYoL” by Bad Bunny. I am already excited to dance it again soon! While we still have a few more to learn, I am really enjoying this quarter’s dances. I would say that I have a gist of the movements of each dance, but haven’t perfected them quite yet.

The rest of my week was all about work and trying to rest up and get get over my cold. Luckily I was sick this week because the next few weeks are extremely busy for me with lost of events coming up!

What I am watching: Last weekend I watched the new Netflix movie The Life List starring Sofia Carson and Connie Britton. It’s about a 20-something girl whose mother passed away. In the mother’s will she not only fires her daughter from her cosmetic company, but makes her do a bucket list by a certain date in order to receive her inheritance. I enjoyed the movie! Thought it was cute, sorta funny, while also being a bit sad.

Also on Netflix I started the new series The Residence starring Uzo Aduba- and many more familiar faces. There is a dead body found during the State Dinner at the White House. Cordelia Cupp (Uzo Aduba) is a consulting detective for the DC police department. Cordelia is a peculiar kind of detective– sorta reminds me of Poirot– odd, great attention to detail, genius, etc. It’s a fun, humorous murder mystery! I am really enjoying it so far!

Did you watch The Masters?! I am SO happy Rory McIlroy FINALLY won!! I was rooting for him– it seemed like we all were. He deserved this win more than anyone. What I love most about his win is that it shows that persistence and hard work really pays off. That dreams do come true– and doesn’t always happen overnight. It was an exciting Masters. Loved that they had a diva off (both Rory and Justin one-on-one round) as the kids would say. It was an overall great day of golf (I sound like my dad haha).

What I bought: I had a few PR gifts sent to me this week. The first being this cute crochet cardigan and this summer blue color cardigan. Excited to wear them both throughout the spring and summer. I was also sent an early copy of The High Dive by Chelsea Fagan. It’s release will be this coming May. Excited to dive (pun intended) into it.
