Happy Friday! The sun is out, the flowers and cherry blossom trees have grown, and the grass is very green; how can you not love spring!

While I am enjoying the beautiful weather we are having as much as possible, I’ve also been busy with work and events. Tuesday I went to Maman in Rockefeller Center for the Read With Jenna and Jane Win event celebrating the limited BLOOM collection. The proceeds from the sales goes to the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy.

The inspiration for the collection stems from a Barbara Bush quote about peonies and reading. The collection is beautiful and selling out fast. I am sad I didn’t get the chance to buy the necklace that I wanted- it’s right up my alley with flowers and books. In addition to the launch of the collaboration we were also celebrating a soon-to-be released book by Conform by Ariel Sullivan. I am excited to read it! Anyway, the event was lovely! I got to catch up with some of my fellow book influencers and meet new people!

A little fun story Jenna told us about Barbara is that she had a needlepoint pillow that said ‘”reading is sexy” and now I need one!! Too funny to think that Barbara Bush had a pillow that said that!

My week of catching up didn’t end there. Yesterday I met up with my friend Roshan, owner of Ro’Table, at Café Kitsune in the West Village. We have both been traveling and are so busy with work, we haven’t seen each other in months. It was so nice to catch up on life, business, etc!

What I am watching: I watched the movie Picture This starring Simone Ashley and Hero Fiennes Tiffin on Prime. I thought it was ok! Not the best and not the worst romcom. Some cute parts, some parts humorous, and some parts I found to be ridiculous. Overall I enjoyed it.

I started watching the new Netflix series Ransom Canyon starring Josh Duhamel and Minka Kelly. I watched it on a whim when nothing else was on and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy it. I am halfway through the series already.

I watched a little bit of the NFL Draft. I couldn’t care less about the NFL and do not know much except for the Kelce brothers and that the Bengals and the Browns suck…. I am from Ohio… However, I adore the Ohio State players that have been and are waiting to be drafted. I am watching off and on for them.

What I bought: One can never have too many white dresses I whisper to myself as I hit purchase on this white shirtdress— currently on sale. It’s a great dress to wear to events, brunch with friends, work, or walking around the city.

I was sent a fun PR box for Abby Jimenez new book Say You’ll Remember Me. Not only did they send the book but also a delicious bottle of mustard.

Last but not least, I ran out of a few of my favorite nighttime skincare products and had to replenish them. I bought this facial oil and this pro-collagen overnight cream— feels like silk.

My book club is finally back! After a very long hiatus it’s officially back! We are meeting this Sunday night to dress up, sip cocktails, mingle, and discuss How to Sleep at Night. I am very excited to catch up with all of my book club friends– and to dress up! Besides my book club I will be taking it easy this weekend. Next week is very busy, so I want to get ahead of work stuff and relax a little; read my book, go for a walk, exercise etc.
